Procedures/Unit Details: Advanced care unit specializing in the
care of patients with pulmonary disease (COPD, pneumonia, CHF,
sepsis, post-COVID). With the support of Respiratory Therapists, we
care for trach vents, bipaps, and high-oxygen requirements. It's a
complex patient population with a high-acuity. We pride ourselves
on our teamwork and the way we work together. We are also currently
trialing team nursing where we work together as 2 nurses and a PCT
to care for a group of patients. The goal of this trial is to
divide up the work instead of dividing up the patients. chest
