Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 18 months experience required License: Must have Indiana or compact license Certifications: ARRT(R) ACLS BLS Must-Have: Strong experience with electrophysiology, intervention, and performing STEMI Availability to work at least one winter holiday On-call requirement: 10 shifts per month including weekends Description: This position involves working as a Cath Lab RN on a day shift schedule. The candidate must possess strong experience in electrophysiology procedures and interventions. Must be comfortable performing STEMI procedures. A call rotation is expected after hours. The role requires flexibility for potential block scheduling. Experience in IR procedures, specifically stenting, angioplasty, and hemodynamic monitoring is essential. Candidates should be familiar with performing thoracentesis. Preferred experience includes performing ablations and peripheral procedures. Candidates should be proficient in inserting and programming AICDs and pacemakers. Experience in arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, conduction studies, and electrophysiology evaluation is preferred. Candidates should be motivated to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Floating between departments or affiliate hospitals may be required.
