Job Title: Heart & Vascular Sonographer (Travel) City: Cincinnati State: OH Job Type: Travel Discipline: Allied Speciality: Heart & Vascular Sonographer Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule?: Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Days Shift Details: M-F 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications/Licences: Required Education: Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program. Maintain continuing education requirements as set forth by ARDMS, CCI, ICAVL and ICAE. Required Certifications & Licensure: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). BLS (American Heart Assoc.) Mandatory Experience: Vascular Only Required: Registered in modality by CCI or ARDMS Minimum of 2 years Echo/ Vascular experience Shift: 5x8s M-F 7:30AM-4PM 40hrs (Potential RV PAD screening rotation 8-430) Required Skills & Experience: Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written / verbal). Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital management, physicians and technologists. Current knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardia and/or vascular sonography. Working knowledge of accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance procedures.
