Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must hold an active nursing license Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: Telemetry experience Ventilator management experience Ability to care for ventilated patients Experience in hemodynamic monitoring Ability to interpret dysrhythmias Experience in managing dysrhythmias Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Description: This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric intensive care setting. Candidates must be willing to float to various units as needed, including a cardiac stepdown unit. The nurse will manage complex heart patients, including those on ventilators and with heart conditions. The unit cares for congenital heart patients across various age groups, from neonates to adults. Nurses will work in a 23-bed environment and provide specialized care for patients in need of cardiac interventions, including post-operative care. Flexibility to work every other weekend is required. Application requires current certifications in BLS and PALS. Candidates must be able to work during major holidays as part of the commitment to the team. All applicants must have their licenses and certifications in hand prior to the start of employment.
