Job Description Job Description Overview of Pain Medicine Physician Position Our organization is in search of a board-certified Pain Medicine Physician to become part of a well-established and collaborative practice in Lafayette, IN. This opportunity arises as we prepare for the retirement of a current physician in 2026. The role includes conducting diagnostic and interventional pain management procedures, such as epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablations, with the assistance of nurse practitioners and a diverse referral network. We are looking for a patient-focused, team-oriented Pain Management Provider to ensure a smooth transition following the retirement of our current physician. Position Highlights: Engage in a thriving, established practice with a collegial environment, supported by three Nurse Practitioners and additional clinic staff in procedural and operating rooms. Work Monday through Friday with a shared on-call schedule, described as minimal at 1:5. The retiring physician currently spends three days in the Ambulatory Surgery Center performing fluoroscopic procedures and one day in the office for injections. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will oversee medication management and preparation for procedures. Minimal involvement in chronic opioid management with established pain contracts. Receive referrals from our multi-specialty group, including Neurosurgery, Sports Medicine, and Primary Care. Perform procedures such as epidural steroid injections, medical branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sacroiliac joint injections, and hip injections and blocks. Scheduled blocks for procedures are available in the Surgery Center. Qualifications: Completion of a fellowship in Pain Management. Residency training in either Anesthesiology or Physiatry is required. Board eligibility or certification is mandatory. Must hold a medical license in Indiana or be eligible for licensure in the state. Previous experience is preferred. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a robust compensation structure.
