Details - Department: Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) -
Schedule: Full Time Days (3-12 hour shifts 7am-7pm) every third
weekend - Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent Hospital - Location:
Indianapolis, Indiana - Sign On Bonus up to $10,000 - if eligible
This is a 44 bed unit known for its cohesiveness and dedication to
patient outcomes. When you become a part of this unit, you will
receive both Progressive Fundamentals and Cardiac Rhythms training.

amazing team of health-care heroes! Patients we serve: Large
variety of diagnoses & patients with multiple co-morbidities: Adult
Respiratory Failure, COPD, DKA, Dysrhythmias requiring continuous
infusion and cardiac monitoring, Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage,
Hypertensive Crisis, Liver Failure, Overdose or withdrawal,
Pneumonia, Renal Failure, Sepsis, Unstable Angina and NSTEMI.

Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Responsibilities: - Implement and monitor patient
care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as
appropriate. - Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines
for well-coordinated patient care. - Note and carry out physician
and nursing orders. - Assess and coordinate patient's discharge
planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained
within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross
accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of
Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional
Preferences 2 yr previous acute care experience preferred. Critical
