About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Must have an
in-state license and required certifications in hand prior to start
date. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have:
- Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate
hospitals. - Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. -
Acceptance of block scheduling, to be discussed. - Previous
experience in a medical surgical setting with patient ratios of
1:5-6. - Capacity to manage patients with chronic health issues and
acute medical conditions. Description: We are seeking a Registered
Nurse to join our medical surgical team. This unit specializes in
the care of medical patients, with some surgical overflow. The
average age of patients is around 75, but can be as young as 18.
Typical conditions include chronic health issues such as COPD and
uncontrolled diabetes. Acute issues managed on this unit include
pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and stroke. The unit also
provides care for patients receiving inpatient hospice services.
The hospital is a short-term acute care facility with a structured
approach to patient care. The designated staffing ratio is
conducive to delivering quality healthcare. Candidates must have
experience with medical-surgical nursing responsibilities. We value
