Experience in medical/surgical nursing - Skills in pre/post neuro
surgery and total joint replacements - Ability to interpret and
manage dysrhythmias Description: The position requires a medical
surgical registered nurse for a full-time role. Candidates must
have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar setting. The
nurse will work in a unit focusing on orthopedic, gynecological,
urology, and neurosurgery patients. Daily responsibilities include
caring for patients undergoing total joint replacements and other
surgical procedures. The registered nurse will manage care for
medical patients with various diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia,
and small bowel obstruction. Experience in trauma care and handling
of continuous bladder irrigation is preferred. The role involves
floating within the facility and potentially to affiliated
facilities. The nurse will adhere to all safety and health
regulations while providing high-quality patient care. Candidates
must be experienced in managing IVs and blood product
administration. The position requires a commitment to work 2 out of
3 major holidays. Providing effective patient education and
emotional support will be essential. Collaboration with an
interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and pharmacy,
will be expected. A valid nursing license and required
certifications must be in hand prior to employment. This role
