Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Carmel, Indiana,
46032! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift:
12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required in a medical-surgical
setting. License: Must be active and in hand prior to start date.
Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Experience with voiding
trials and/or urogyn surgeries. Experience in bariatric surgery,
thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction, and continuous bladder
irrigation. Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby
affiliate hospitals. Description: This position is for a registered
nurse in a medical surgical specialty. The focus of the unit is on
general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery. The
nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric
patients. The typical patient ratio is 1:6. The role involves
postoperative care and management of various surgical conditions.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. Experience in managing
surgical drains and wound care is essential. Candidates should have
a strong background in post-surgical care for urology and
gynecology patients. Additional experience in trauma level I and II
settings is a plus. Floating to other medical-surgical units is a
requirement of the position. Candidates must be willing to work two
