How you’ll make an impact in this role - Provide high-acuity nursing care for medical and surgical patients including those with STEMI, advanced heart failure, and complex transplants to ensure clinical stability and safety. - Manage advanced life support and mechanical assist devices, such as ECMO, VADs and ventilators, to maintain vital organ function and support patient recovery. - Execute and adjust individualized care plans based on continuous monitoring of hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms to achieve optimal patient outcomes. - Lead the coordination of the multidisciplinary team across various specialties to provide a seamless, integrated care experience for complex surgical and transplant patients. - Evaluate and organize comprehensive discharge and transition plans to empower patients and families for a safe, successful recovery after intensive care. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. - Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional preferences we're seeking - At least one year of critical care experience.
