How you’ll make an impact in this role - Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Monitor, record, implement and communicate patient condition and care plan; note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care including mental and psychosocial needs and Rehabilitation needs.l - Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the multi-disciplinary team members - Commitment to spiritually centered, holistic care and collaborative, open-communication team culture. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. - Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional preferences we're seeking Previous experience with critical care, ICU, & Hemodynamic Monitoring, Infection Control and Wound Care. The Ascension St. Vincent Adult and Pediatric Burn Center is a certified burn care center in Indiana, located near our Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. In addition to burn injuries, the Burn Center treats those with slow-healing wounds and conditions that result in the loss of skin. Hydrotherapy and physical therapy is also offered in the burn unit.
