ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Must be flexible with weekend requirements - 50% of weekends in contract required • Patient ratios of 1:5 during days and 1:5-6 during nights • Floating required to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) between University and Methodist Hospitals • Refusal to float may result in contract termination • May be assigned charge nurse responsibilities with training and resources provided • Must agree to possibility of precepting and/or having students shadow • Call-in policy requires making up missed shifts during pay period or adding to end of contract • Required certification: BCLS • Minimum 2 years of experience required • Travel experience required • Skills required: Starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac surgery care, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, heparin protocols, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management • Preferred charting system experience with Cerner • Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular surgical, peripheral vascular surgical, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbation diagnoses • Unit has 29 beds with daily census of 25 patients • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays • Two supervisor references required • Local Indiana residents not accepted for this position • Must have nursing license in hand prior to start date Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a teaching hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services.
