Registered Nurse (RN) | Trauma Intensive Care Unit Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,927 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified TICU RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260! Job Title: RN ICU Profession: RN Specialty: RN ICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Skills in invasive hemodynamic monitoring, IV drip titration, nurse-driven burn fluid resuscitation, ventilator management, CVVH, pulse and flap Doppler checks, initial debridement and dressing changes, conscious sedation, surgical recovery, and epidural pumps. Description: Adult and pediatric burn trauma surgical ICU RN. Primary RN Care model. Nursing care ratios of 1:2 for critical care patients. 1:1 nursing care support for burn trauma code 1 admissions, high acuity, and post-operative patients. Needs include invasive hemodynamic monitoring (at least Q 1 hr), IV drip titration, and nurse-driven burn fluid resuscitation following the Parkland formula. Ventilator management and CVVH are required. Q 1 hr pulse and flap Doppler checks, initial debridement, and dressing changes are essential. Conscious sedation and surgical recovery skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage epidural pumps.
