Job Description Job Description Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Compensation: $8 - $10 hourly Responsibilities: Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties Qualifications: Prior food service industry experience is highly desired Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills About Company Founded in 2005, Rolling Hills Hospitality operates 15 hotel properties with a central focus on exceeding the expectations of its guests.
