Diversity embodies all the differences that make us unique individuals. - All employees share the responsibility for maintaining a workplace culture of dignity, respect, understanding and appreciation of individual and group differences.The Chief Human Resources Officer provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the entire Group 1001 organization. - Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and President of Group 1001, the role will operate at a strategic level, while taking complete ownership of all aspects of operational HR to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. This individual will direct, oversee, and manage the human resources function for this growing business of 1,000+ employees. - The successful candidate will lead and manage a team responsible for Talent Acquisition, Benefits and Compensation, Human Resources Operations, and Talent Management. Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide consultation to leadership regarding human capital.
  • A key member of the Senior Leadership Team. Participates in a variety of ongoing strategic initiatives, providing HR expertise, perspective, and advice to help drive strategic business decisions throughout the company.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team across the business units.
  • Collaborates with leadership to define the organization's goals and identifies ways to support them through employee talent management, systems, programs, and processes.
  • Develop and execute the human resources strategy, aligned to the business strategy and goals.
  • Provide and mentor executives in leadership development and coaching.
  • Chair the Benefit Plans Committee and participates in other Committees.
  • Guides leaders on succession planning and manages the process.
  • Responsible for creating comprehensive and competitive HR programs, policies, compensation, and benefit plans.
  • Responsible for HR governance and controls.
  • Oversees talent acquisition efforts and staffing execution for all business entities.
  • Drives HR operational efficiencies.
  • Partners with leaders to improve diversity equity and inclusion throughout the organization.
  • Leads and engages a diverse team of talent, ensuring employees understand expectations, receive regular feedback, and are appropriately developed and rewarded. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
    • 20+ years of Human Resources management experience preferably some time with Financial Services.
    • Ability to participate effectively on the senior management team.
    • Thought leadership and results leader, comfortable with creating and managing through change and ambiguity.
    • Excellent leadership skills, with experience leading and setting the strategy and direction for the team.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required to establish and build effective relationships within and outside the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to exchange ideas and convey information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
