JOB DESCRIPTIONWage: $15/HourPart-Time School YearEXPECTATION FOR ALL EMPLOYEESThe Office Management-HR Intern will support and contribute to the organization's mission and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect personalization, commitment to our community, and accountability and ownership.POSITION SUMMARY:Support the human resources department with a focus on office management services providing administrative and customer support for the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides front desk support answering phones and greeting guestsAssists with mail/packagesMaintains and restocks office and kitchen suppliesProvides administrative support such as copying, typing letters, completing formsUpdating electronic informationCompleting credit card authorizationsSupporting all administrative functions for travelAssisting with office tenant supportSupport aspects of the payroll process bi-weeklySupport maintenance of all employee and other related files.Assisting with HRIS systemOther duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSObtaining a BA/BS in Office Management, Human Resources or related area or equivalent experience.Undergrad GPA of 3.0 or greaterGraduate GPA of 3.4 or greater Combination of education and experience is acceptableStrong organization and communication skills.Ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently and as a team.Possess and exhibit a strong and genuine interest in working with people and the ability to interact at all levels of the organizationAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationWorking towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fieldLanguage Skills - Ability to read, write, interpret and analyze business publications, technical procedures and government regulations. Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiple, divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.Reasoning Skills - Ability to define issues, collect information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in various forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables. Computer SkillsIntermediate skills with MS OfficePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Rarely stands and walks or reaches with hands and arms.Regularly sits, talks, hear and uses hands to finger, handle and feel.Rarely must lift up to 25 pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Normally works in an environment with moderate noise.
