Job Description:

New Vista Health and Wellness is currently seeking licensed counselors (LMHC, LMHC-A, LSW if working toward LCSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCAC, or LCAC-A required) to work as Intake Assessor in the Admissions Department at Ethan Crossing of Indianapolis, a Substance Use Disorder Treatment center. The Intake Assessor assesses or ensures assessment by a licensed, qualified professional for patients who present for assessment. Upon assessment of the patient, the Intake Assessor coordinates with the physician to ensure appropriate treatment is provided either at the center or another appropriate provider in the community. In addition, the Intake Assessor ensures appropriate screening of medical and behavioral emergency conditions and completes all administrative processes of the admission for treatment including, as appropriate, the initial authorization of care with the insurance company/third-party payor.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related fieldLMHC, LMHC-A, LSW if working toward LCSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCAC, or LCAC-A requiredPrevious Intake/Admissions experience in a behavioral health/SUD setting preferred.Minimum two years of supervised clinical experience, assessment and evaluation experience preferred.Qualified candidates, apply now for a chance to join our outstanding team as we Inspire Hope, Restore Peace of Mind, and Heal Lives.
