What You'll Be Doing:
Evolent Health is looking for a Talent Manager (HR Business
Partner) who acts as a partner to the business in all areas of HR,
including culture, employee engagement, learning, performance
management, retention, compensation, employee recognition, and
employee relations. A successful Talent Manager will act as an
employee and business champion for the organization. This role will
collaborate and leverage the broader Talent team on People
initiatives for the organization. This individual will work to
ensure Evolent programs, processes, solutions, policies and
initiatives are implemented in the business. This role will be
aligned to our Specialty business unit.
--- Responsibilities:
Establishes effective relationships across business unit(s) to
support People Initiatives
Acts as a liaison between the business and Talent Team to ensure
that HR solutions are aligned with internal client needs
Works closely with management and employees to create positive
employee experience, improve work relationships, build morale,
increase productivity and retention in business
Executes enterprise-wide Talent and Culture programs through
business unit including orientation
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line
management (coaching, counseling, career development, performance
coaching)
Resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective,
thorough and objective investigations
Partners with Talent team to analyze Talent trends and metrics to
bring ideas for solutions
With direction from Talent leadership, implements appropriate
compensation solutions for the businessleveraging internal and
external benchmark data
Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
Consistently models the company's values and behaviors
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
The Experience We Prefer:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Human Resources, or
related field
4-6 years'HR experience, preferably as a Human Resources Generalist
or HR Business Partner
HR Certification (PHR or SPHR)
Experience in healthcare and/or call center settings
Demonstrated experience in hands-on, fast paced HR role
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including
learning practices, employee relations, diversity, performance
management, federal and state respective employment laws
particularly California
Demonstrated collaboration skills with business leaders not
co-located with role
Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain
support and achieve results
Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make
recommendations for implementation
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility and availability to interact with employees at all
levels
Self-direction and motivation
Ability to travel up to10% of the time to client/employee locations
as needed
Capable of working productively in a home office environment when
needed
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical
capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and,
specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in
directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical
requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of
our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is
$75,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set
required for the position and commensurate with experience and may
vary above and below the stated amounts.
