Traveling Industrial Athletic Trainer (Early Intervention Specialist) Indianapolis, IN 46241, USA, United States Req #9405 Monday, September 24, 2018 Traveling Early Intervention Specialist; ATI Worksite Solutions What's the role?The Traveling Certified Early Intervention Specialist (CEIS) role is an allied health professional who is responsible for providing preventative early intervention, ergonomic and/or occupational medicine program services in accordance with various client scopes of work. This individual will provide multi-location coverage subsequent to leaves of absence, hiring gaps, and circumstances where additional AWS personnel are beneficial. The Traveling CEIS will provide services consistent to his/her scope of practice in the state and in alignment with program needs. This role requires extensive travel, as well as the ability to efficiently connect with people for positive and effective relationships. This role involves quick integration into a company's culture to understand the organization, rotations, processes, and personnel associated with the day-to-day operations of the company in order to make smooth transitions and appropriate impact toward program goals. Secondary responsibilities involve onsite training of staff, mentoring, supplying feedback and recommendations to leadership, and the development and effective implementation of quality improvement projects. As an integral part of the AWS team, the Traveling CEIS will be asked to take ownership of his/her responsibilities while always looking for ways to improve the services that we deliver to our clients. What you need to be successful:The ability to travel frequently, up to 75% of the time Discernment for travel expenses with the ability to consistently make fiscally sound decisions and keep expenses organized and submitted in a timely manner Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to take responsibility for a high level of communication Excellent organizational and tracking skills, with the ability to self-motivate The ability to prioritize projects and balance them with coverage assignments, ensuring consistent progress The ability to effectively and professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with every person with whom you interact, from entry level associates to AWS providers and internal leadership The ability to execute a coverage and travel plan with agility and thoroughness The ability to report out on program coverage, training concerns, and areas of opportunity Demonstrate enthusiasm, compassion, and the friendly factor to make the day of our internal and external clients The ability to act in the role of CEIS within your perspective scope of practice The ability to provide injury screening, first aid (as defined by OSHA 29 CFR 1904.7(b)(5)(ii)), education, and/or escalation of care, if indicated The ability to document efficiently and completely, with a strong ability to integrate feedback for continuous improvement The ability to develop job-specific mobility routines and programs to be implemented in a preventative manner The ability to develop and communicate reports on key performance indicators to AWS operations, client leadership, and operations as dictated by protocol The ability to participate in continuous improvement efforts to achieve site-specific metrics with regards to outcomes The ability to maintain confidential documents Excellent computer skills, as well as strong organizational skills with the ability to consistently maintain up-to-date daily documentation Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - ATC: successful completion of four academic years of pre-professional and professional study in a specialized curriculum accredited by CAATE, certified by the NATABOC; or - PTA, OTA: Associates degree with a professional clinical degree in rehabilitation; or - PT, OT: Bachelor's degree with a professional clinical degree in rehabilitation; or - RN: Associates degree or Bachelors' of Science Degree in Nursing. Hold an active state license or equivalent as a registered nurse in state where practicing Must hold the appropriate state licensure as required for client-specific scope of work, certification, or registration (per state requirements); current, and in good standing CPR Certification Experience in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel/ Power Point) At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Early Intervention Specialist.
