Job Description:

A medical device manufacturing company is seeking a Senior-level CNC Programmer to join their growing team in Indianapolis, IN! Please see below for more details on standard responsibilities and desired qualifications.
Direct-hire, 100% onsite, full-timeHours: First shift, M-F, 8 am - 5 pm (flexible)Compensation: Base salary up to $120,000 + bonus + full benefits package
Responsibilities:

• Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.
• Utilize drawings or CAD models to support program development.
• Utilize CAM software to produce programs.
• Create, document and back-up all programs. Update set-up sheets and tool lists as required.
• Confer with appropriate engineering personnel in preparing and finalizing programs.
• Design and/or assist in the design of tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and project and program management departments on the set up and validation of programs to ensure high-quality parts are made.
• Monitor all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task
• Identify areas of improvement and develop methods to reduce costs and increase production efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to develop inspection plans
  Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Additional technical education or training preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in a CNC programming position
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Mastercam
  • Medical or aerospace industry experience preferred
