CAI is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a government
entity. This is a hybrid, contract opportunity, with possibility to
extend. Our client is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the activities of a
Senior Salesforce Developer for the client's system that is built
on a Salesforce platform. This individual will operate on a hybrid
model of 3 days onsite, and 2 days remote per week. If you are a

Responsibilities and Duties:
--- Play a vital role in iteratively designing and developing
custom Salesforce applications.
--- Develop, configure, test, and deploy customized Salesforce
solutions.
--- Proactive consultant that possesses a strong understanding of
the Salesforce platform and its customization abilities.
--- Assist to continually improve and enhance our existing
Salesforce platform.
--- Support/mentor other team members on meeting goals and
delivering results.
--- Adhere to Salesforce development best practices.
--- Communicate progress, needs, and planning with supervisors on a
weekly basis, or as requested.
--- Meet project deadlines and requirements while working in an
independent and remote role.
--- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
--- 8+ years of total Information Technology experience.
--- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System
(SLDS).
--- 5+ years of experience building Lightning Web Components.
--- 5+ years of experience with External API calls using APEX REST
API.
--- 5+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
--- 5+ years of experience with Apex, Apex Tests, Apex
Triggers.
--- 5+ years of experience in building Lightning flows.
--- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Platform (Lightning
Experience, Administrative setup, metadata employments).
--- Understanding of DevOps Release management, preferably
Copado.
--- Understanding of Delivery and Project Management frameworks,
methodologies, and practices (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
--- Understanding of REST & SOAP Web Services.
--- Experience in conducting unit tests and developing SOQL and
SOSL queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any
issues.
--- Experience using/calling external APIs from Salesforce.
--- Experience in uploading documents (excel, PDF) from LWC to
Amazon S3 bucket.
--- Experience working in a modern Salesforce development
environment using Visual Studio Code, Git, and the SFDX CLI in
conjunction with a Dev Hub and scratch orgs.
Desired Education and Experience:
--- Experience with using Copado.
--- Experience with Tableau.
--- Experience with Mulesoft.
--- Salesforce Developer Certification(s).
Skills:
--- Good written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal
skills.
--- Resourceful self-starter.
--- Highly motivated team player.
--- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with high
levels of weekly task variation.
