Job Description:
Title Depot Service TechnicianLocation Indianapolis, INDuration
12 + Months of ContractJob Description:Primary duties include
performing in-house and field servicing of Cold Storage and
Temperature Control products (baths, circulators, re-circulators,
chillers, freezers, centrifuges, etc.) This includes performing
evaluation, repair and testing of customer equipment. Also,
required to identify service resource and tooling needs while
alerting management of product repair trends. Additional duties
could include assisting with receiving/shipping and interfacing
with customers.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and service our
customers to ensure 100% customer satisfactionPerform Customer
Services, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and
repairing customer equipment and field installations of applicable
products.Calibrate customer equipment according to
specifications.Provide technical support to customers via phone and
email.Provide training as required.Provide support to engineering,
manufacturing, and sales.Provide adequate documentation and reports
upon completion of each assigned job.Minimum
Requirements/Qualifications:3-5 years' experience with temperature
control equipment and/or refrigeration experience
preferred.Mechanically/Electrically proficientPipe brazing and
soldering skillsSolid troubleshooting skillsGood verbal and written
communications skillsEPA Certification PreferredNon-Negotiable

experienceBasic computer skills with ability to learn service
procedures and software toolsCurrent Driver's LicenseAbility to
lift 40 lbs. or more with helpDiagnose and repair, customer, and
in-process units.Keep accurate and ISO audit able records of
product repairs, test results and other data as required. Adhere to
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements of the job
function. Adhere to ISO9000 requirements including ESD, work area
cleanliness, maintenance and calibration of equipment and work
instruction adherence.Attend daily team stand-up meetings. Build
working relationships with co-workers, including employees in other
departments (engineering, materials, etc.).Perform transactions in
MRP system. Maintain a safe working environment, following
established 5S procedures. Troubleshoot failure modes as part of
their own processes.Responsible for processing work orders for the
manufacture of optical componentsExperience Requirements:Minimum of
1-3 years of experience.Experience in electro-mechanical devices
repairs.Component soldering a plus. ESD environment Computer
knowledge a must.Education Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or
equivalent.Chemistry a plusSkills Requirements:Ability to follow
work instructions and procedures and to use test equipment as
required Good communication and organizational skills.Team player,
Strong written English skills are mandatory. Show ability to work
with small parts under microscope using tweezers and other small
