Tech@Lilly TS/MS is a central technology group that partners with
Technology Services / Manufacturing Science (TSMS) to deploy the
TSMS Digital Agenda across Lilly’s extensive network of
manufacturing sites across the globe. Responsibilities: The Systems
Engineer is a technical professional who designs, develops, and
manages complex systems and applications. They will work
extensively on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Process
Monitoring technologies, ensuring these systems meet the business
and regulatory needs of the organization. Systems engineers will
analyze and improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, and
play a critical role in deploying the TSMS Digital Strategy. They
work across various domains to integrate different components,
ensuring efficient and effective system operations. This is a
global position but needs to have very close collaboration with all
sites around the world. • Design, develop, implement, enhance, and
maintain systems and applications. • Conduct testing,
troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of systems to ensure
reliability and accuracy of data. • Build solutions using an agile
framework for the entire solution lifecycle including designing,
implementing, automating, modernizing, maintaining, and optimizing
solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify
and solve complex business problems. • Develop and maintain
technical documentation using modern automated solutions to meet
quality and compliance standards. • Ensure compliance with data
privacy and security regulations. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s
degree in computer science, Engineering, Computer Information or
related field or equivalent work experience. Professional
experience working in a GXP, regulated environment 3 years of
experience working in PLM, Digital Manufacturing technologies, and
advanced process monitoring capabilities Additional
Skills/Preferences: Proven ability to demonstrate relational DB and
SQL skills, preferably with PostgreSQL. Previous experience with
Denodo. Proficient in Javascript/Typescript/Angular skills in
development tasks. Exposure to container/virtualization
technologies, such as OpenShift. Expertise in cloud-based data
platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, including services such as
Redshift, Aurora, S3. Experience with QMS, LIMS, ERP Exposure to
Annual Product Reviews Previous use of ETL/ELT tools and automation
frameworks effectively. Applied knowledge of API-based and
file-based integration patterns, including JSON, XML, and EDI.
Exposure to security models, compliance requirements, and best
practices for data exchange. Additional Information: Position based
in Indianapolis, Indiana 8-hour days, probable after-hours support

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $63,750 -
$180,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
