Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Data Scientist (R5-R7) to provide data analytics, statistics, and machine learning support for healthcare provider (HCP) sales and marketing operations. Leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) techniques to develop analytics solutions and inform business strategy. Develop data modeling capabilities to provide insights on marketing mix, attribution, channel and spend optimization, and prescriptive analytics. Build model pipelines and integrate results into business outcomes. Scale current data pipelines and increase automation of AI/ML deliverables. Ensure alignment of AI/ML techniques with stakeholder objectives and goals. LI-DNI Position requires a Ph.D. in Statistics, Computational Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of academic or employment experience with leveraging statistics and machine learning techniques to inform business strategy. Academic or employment experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience with frameworks for developing machine learning models; 2 years of experience with tree-based machine learning models (including XGBoost and LGBM) and deep neural networks (including convolutional neural networks and recurrent neural networks); 2 years of experience with technical collaboration tools, including GitHub; 2 years of experience with programming languages, including R and Python; 1 year of experience with translating business needs and questions into analytics problems; and 1 year of experience with managing and processing large data sets, including data cleaning, augmentation, and annotation. The anticipated wage for this position is $209,576 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
