This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in windows server 2012-2022 administration, VMware, Cisco hardware installation and configuration, and Azure cloud management to take their career to the next level. You will be working with a team of experienced engineers and IT professionals, and will be responsible for maintaining and improving our client's existing systems, as well as developing and implementing new technologies. This is an onsite role at our HQ on the north side of Indianapolis and also requires ability to meet our clients at their office locations as well for project work and consultations. As a System Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 1. Designing, implementing, and managing windows server infrastructures. 2. Using Azure to build, deploy, and manage applications through Microsoft-managed data centers. 3. Operating and maintaining Cisco network infrastructures. 4. Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults. 5. Providing proactive support and solutions to ensure system continuity and efficiency. 6. Developing and implementing IT standards and procedures to aid in the management of resources. 7. Collaborating with the team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company. 8. Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. 9. Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies. 10. Participating in the design of information and operational support systems. Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred. 2. 5 years experience in system administration. 3. Experience with Windows Server 2012-2022 administration, VMware, Cisco hardware installation and configuration, and Azure cloud management 4. Solid scripting skills and experience with automation software. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 6. A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks. 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to consult with clients on improving their environments. 8. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 9. MCSA, VCP, and CCNA certifications are a plus. Interested in hearing more?
