Job Description:
If you're interested in being a part of an extraordinary
mission, working with our customer who runs the DoD’s largest
supercomputing centers and operating some of the most powerful
supercomputers in the world, we could use your experience and
enthusiasm! You will be providing your Windows Systems
Administration expertise to ensure DoD scientists have reliable
access to these critical resources and in turn, will be directly
supporting the warfighter. All work will be performed at our
customer’s site on Wright Paterson Airforce Base, OH. A Secret
Clearance is required to begin work on the program. So, what will
you be doing in this role? Install, configure, and manage Windows
workstations using imaging processes Test, schedule and deploy
patches in a timely and non-disruptive manner which can include
following a weekly or quarterly patching cadence to ensure
compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration
guidelines Perform tasks in Active Directory, GPO's, OUs ensuring
Principle of Least Privilege Review, test and implement quarterly
DISA STIGs Deploy and maintain monitoring tools to review system
bottlenecks and other issues before they impact end-user Develop
site innovations to automate tasks and minimize manual repeatable
low level tasks Use ServiceNow ticket system to track and respond
to issues and end-user problems. Perform systems enhancement,
configuration, maintenance, installation, interfaces, coordination,
and software installations and upgrades to Windows operating
systems and layered software packages. Monitor and tune systems to
achieve optimum level of performance in accordance with established
policies, procedures, and service level agreements. Perform
acceptance testing of modules, subsystems, and total systems. Will
be responsible to perform software installation and configuration.
Demonstrate the ability to set priorities and organize work to meet
deadlines These are the required qualifications Must hold an active
in scope SECRET clearance or have the ability to obtain Interim
SECRET eligibility prior to start. (US Citizenship required) Must
hold a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of equivalent
experience, or a master’s degree and 2 years of experience. Must
hold current DOD 8570 IAT II certification which includes a
computing environment (Server, AZ800, or AZ801) and an appropriate
security cert (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE,
or SSCP) prior to start. Communicates effectively both orally and
in a written form with users and office staff These are the
preferred qualifications Configuration management experience
Hands-on experience patching systems and applications within a DoD
environment Ability to write, diagnose, and optimize scripts
written in PowerShell, Python, or Perl If you're looking for

posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $73,450.00 -
$132,775.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement
