Job Description:
Infosys is seeking for a Principal Technology Architect with
deep, hands-on expertise across foundation models, LLMs, GenAI
workflows, agentic systems, and large-scale retrieval pipelines.
This role requires demonstrated experience in designing,
implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade GenAI applications
end-to-end. As part of Manufacturing technology consulting
practice, you will work on defining and delivering next generation
consulting services in one or more of the areas like Enterprise
Architecture, Digital, Cloud, AI for leading global organizations
worldwide. Candidate will provide high end consulting services to
large enterprises in defining their future state enterprise
architecture, provide technology leadership and governance for the
delivery of these programs. One will be focusing on our strategic
clients who are embarking on their transformation initiatives and
will work closely with the sales and delivery teams to drive
solutions. You will identify technology big bets, develop solution
propositions around them, do solution prototypes and proactively
take it to the market. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will
also consider three years of progressive experience in the
specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 14 years
experience with Information Technology. Candidates authorized to

Hands-on experience with GenAI patterns: Retrieval-Augmented
Generation (RAG), summarization, reranking, chunking, vector
indexing, and prompt engineering & deep expertise in foundation
models and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT?4o, Claude,
Llama, and open?source alternatives. Locations for this position
are Indianapolis, IN & Richardson, TX . This position requires
travel and/or relocation to project/client locations. Preferred
Qualifications: At least 7 years of experience in integrating
AI/LLM solutions into enterprise applications using APIs,
microservices, and middleware. Strong proficiency with
orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) for building
production-ready AI workflows. Experience designing and
implementing agentic systems including tool use, agent patterns,
and multi-agent collaboration. Expertise in vector databases such
as PGVector, Pinecone, Amazon Titan, or Azure AI Search. Strong
understanding of scalable data pipelines, data chunking strategies,
and high?performance retrieval systems. Familiarity with
MLOps/GenAIOps practices including CI/CD for LLMs, model
monitoring, safety layers, and continuous improvement. Experience
with cloud AI/ML stacks (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex
AI). Deep understanding of AI governance, security, compliance, and
responsible AI frameworks. Proven ability to deliver
enterprise-grade GenAI applications such as search, chatbots,
content generation, digital twins, or design automation. Ability to
work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, architects,
product managers, and business stakeholders. Strong communication
skills to articulate deep technical concepts and architectural
decisions. Expertise in leading and delivering one or more
technology transformation programs successfully with tangible
business outcomes. Prior Experience in software development,
Architecture and Design of large enterprise systems. In technical
areas like Java, J2EE, .NET, Microservices, Cloud native
development, AI, ML, Infrastructure as code, scripting,
hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, NFRs like
performance, resiliency, scalability, IT security, DevSecops etc.
Expertise in playing the role of a Chief Architect or Architecture
Lead equivalent in the past and should have personally led a team
of architects as part of large programs and provided guidance,
coaching and mentoring to ensure tech quality of the program is
met. Should have good technology knowledge breadth across SDLC
Should have a depth in at least two of the above areas to drive
