Cloud Engineer The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service provider s to further your clients’ meaningful missions. You Have: 4 years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and push ing releases across environments Experience with provisioning computer networking and storage and setting up servers that the platform is on, including virtual machine ( VM ) or networks Experience in Elasticsearch with integration, and deploying container services through a DevSecOps pipeline Experience with AWS Services, including EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, and CloudFormation Experience working with Git for branching, tagging, merging, and release management including GitLab CI / CD, such as designing, writing, and managing .gitlab-ci.yml pipelines for build, test, deploy workflows Experience with Linux and Bash Experience in Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS TS / SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with writing scripts using tools, including Python or Boto3 Experience with GEOAxIS Experience with DevOps CICD pipeline optimization: Use of caching, artifacts, and parallelization to speed up CI / CD performance. Experience with triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering CompTIA Security Certification Clearance : Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
