Aegis Worldwide Lead Blender/ Mixing Technician Indianapolis, IN
$22 - 25 an hour plus $1 Shift Differential If you are looking for

partnered with a manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN and we are
looking for candidates with 1 year of blending/ mixing within food/
beverage manufacturing environments and experience working with
blending equipment. Apply Now! Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to
all company and regulatory safety policies , including PPE
requirements and safe work practices, to ensure a safe working
environment at all times. Maintain compliance with Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and uphold product quality and
sanitation standards. Accurately follow standard operating
procedures (SOPs) , formulas, and batch records to ensure
consistent and high-quality product blends. Operate and monitor
processing equipment including blenders, pumps, scales, hoists, and
control systems during batching and blending processes. Complete
and maintain accurate documentation , including blend sheets,
production logs, shift handoffs, and batch records in compliance
with quality assurance requirements. Review and interpret batch
documentation to verify correct ingredients, measurements, and lot
codes; identify and escalate discrepancies when necessary. Stage,
weigh, and verify ingredients for blending by performing necessary
calculations (including metric conversions), handling partials
correctly, and recording all data. Perform blending activities in
accordance with established recipes, including RO water testing
(Total Dissolved Solids and conductivity), ingredient mixing,
sampling, and quality testing. Input and verify new recipes within
the automated blend control system , start and stop batches, and
monitor system performance. Conduct Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures
for blend tanks and equipment following sanitation protocols to
prevent cross-contamination. Operate and CIP Ratio Blender systems
per standard requirements. Monitor and manage batch hold times to
ensure timely production and avoid delays. Troubleshoot and resolve
issues with blend systems, reporting major issues to maintenance or
supervision. Comply with company spill response policies ,
including proper containment and cleanup procedures. Safely operate
additional equipment such as foamers, balers , and other production
support tools. Follow recycling and waste management protocols for
materials like drums, pallets, and plastics. Maintain cleanliness
and organization of work areas in accordance with 5S or lean
principles. Foster a positive team environment , maintaining
respectful communication with co-workers, leadership, and
cross-functional teams. Perform other duties as assigned ,
including support in related areas when needed. Maintain reliable
attendance , including the flexibility to work assigned shifts,
overtime, weekends, or holidays based on production needs. What

tech/quality tech role for a food & beverage manufacturer.
Experience with mixing and blending equipment. Ability to work on
overnight shift. Positive and collaborative attitude. Sense of
urgency.
