opportunity as a Sr Supervisor, Plant Operations located in
Indianapolis, Indiana. The Senior Supervisor, Operations is
responsible for supervising a medium to large group of employees
involved in plant production operations. In addition, this
individual utilizes Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive
Maintenance techniques to continually improve the operational
metrics of the area. Work is generally of a technical nature with
the ability to make decisions within the limits of general
standards and practices and requires using initiative in decision
making. Key Responsibilities: Hire, lead, and manage a dynamic team
to create an inclusive and collaborative work environment ·
Monitor, evaluate, and provide regular feedback on employee growth
and implementing improvement as needed. · Drive employee engagement
and retention initiatives to maintain a motivated workforce –
positively represent corporate communications to influence outcomes
that support business strategies. · Ensure compliance with Allison
Policies and manage employee relations matters as needed. ·
Participates in the selection, training, and development of new
employees. · Manages personnel, material, and equipment safely and
effectively. · Responsible for training, performance management,
coaching, disciplinary, timekeeping/payroll, resource management,
and overtime management for employees in assigned area. · Meets
production cost, schedules, and quality requirements through the
utilization of established manufacturing processes and methods. ·
Facilitates floor operations and removes barriers for supervisors
and hourly employees to meet measurable objectives. · Implements
and maintains Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). · Operator
Autonomous Maintenance execution, follow up and improvement. ·
Engagement on machine condition continuous improvement · Lead OEE
improvement across all areas · Serve as a leader, trainer, and
coach of lean and TPM principles. · Exemplify the desired culture
and philosophies of the organization. · Complies with the terms of
the labor agreement. · Senior supervisors may have additional
duties including: o Involvement in the training and onboarding of
new supervisor hires in the plant. o May interact with internal &
external stakeholders as needed. o Provide coverage across the
plant in event that another supervisor is on PTO or leave. Key

Responsiveness · Cost Qualifications: Required: Associate Degree
and/or equivalent experience required Experience: Required : · 1
years prior Supervisory experience · 3 years’ experience in
manufacturing / logistics environment. Preferred: · 5 years prior
