Job Description:

Provide strong leadership to effectively develop and drive the growth of digital banking throughout the company with a goal to acquire, expand and retain new households. Develop strategy and implement tactical plans, including routine reviews to assess progress to plans and any adjustments needed to help execute those plans. Drive results through tactical execution to facilitate the growth of revenue throughout the digital channel across all lines of business. Develop policies and procedures for digital banking in order to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations as well as assist with the design and development of new digital offerings, acquisition activities, etc.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:. Drive deposit growth through the acquisition and retention of new households via digital channels.. Accountable for the profit and loss of the digital channel.. Develop an ecosystem of sales, marketing, product, compliance, IT, and corporate social responsibility at the corporate level to drive digital growth through strategies and tactics driven by client data.. Increase awareness, enrollment and utilization of digital channels.. Partner with marketing to gather data through the digital client journey and nurture new clients through content marketing. Leverage data to automate lead generation and deliver personalized offers.. Develop, analyze and identify, trends and key performance indicators such as click-through metrics, online account opening abandonment, conversion rates, digital channel usage, quality control, etc.. In addition to deposit growth, develop, implement, monitor, and as needed revise aggressive sales and marketing strategies to drive, loan and partner referrals with new and existing client relationships to support the attainment of scorecard goals and metrics. Provide feedback to product and marketing related to market trends and the competitive landscape. Provide direction to marketing for development and implementation of marketing programs to support strategy execution.. Identify technical solutions to support growth objectives, participate in vendor selection and vendor risk management.. Partner closely with Learning, Development and Performance team to meet the development, performance and training needs of the team and other areas of the bank. Develop, coordinate, request and supervise ongoing training programs for department on sales, management, supervisory techniques, operations, etc.. Manage internal team communications including project updates, newsletters, sales results, campaign development, and goals.. In conjunction with the leadership team evaluate incentive plans and performance measures for appropriate adjustments and changes.. Ensure cultural effectiveness of sales and sales management process of the Virtual Banking Centers (VBC). Partner across all Lines of Business and support functions to advance the strategic objectives of the VBCs. Collaborate with Consumer Banking leadership teams for success while also leveraging relationships with Commercial Regional Presidents to ensure unique market needs are addressed where appropriate.. Lead network wide communications related to sales and service activities, expectations and results.. Organize digital banking calling events and ensure collaboration with consumer banking sponsored calling blitzes and other sales activities.. Organize and coordinate recognition opportunities of varying scales.. Participate in the annual review of variable compensation plans, goal setting, performance KPIs, and role-based competencies.. Review financial reports of department activities to analyze individual and department performance and detect trends. Observe sales and service routines and activities at all levels and provide balanced feedback for improved results.. Provide dotted-line leadership where appropriate and/or requested by the Director, Consumer Banking. Partner with the Director, Customer Service to align service delivery and manage the client experience across channels.. Influence the strategic direction of the sales and service function of Digital Banking by staying apprised of industry trends, networking with industry peers and developing business recommendations to grow the business.. Create and foster a robust employee experience within the department.. Actively participate in the hiring and recruitment of new employees.. Implement effective Sales Management routines designed to coach, teach, train and inspect sales activities and overall performance.. Hold frequent performance and career development conversations to help employees reach both personal and professional goals. Provide leadership, motivation and advice concerning staffing, performance and other employee issues.. Provide employees an opportunity to develop new skills by empowering them to complete challenging tasks and assignments.. Create an environment of open, honest and consistent feedback designed to improve individual and company performance.. Use employee engagement survey results to evaluate your managerial skills and improve personal leadership opportunities.. Establish high expectations for superior quality customer service. Ensure team and partners deliver upon Gold Standard for Service expectations.. Position Requirements:. Education - Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, business or a related field.. Experience - Over eight (8) years of sales management experience.. License - This position requires S.A.F.E Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Employees hired or transferring into this position will need to meet the qualification requirements within three (3) months of hire.. Other - None. Preferred Requirements:. Experience managing digital banking channels within banking preferred.. Experience managing, working with, banking center or call center teams, and delivery of customer service excellence.. Experience. Required. Over eight (8) years of sales management experience.. Education. Required. Bachelors or better in Management or related field.
