Infosys is seeking a Principal Speech Consultant . As a
Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for
assignments, all the way from business process consulting and
problem definition to solution design, development and deployment.
You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the
overall solution and guide teams on project processes,
deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the
key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor
business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability
building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding
consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing
needs of the global landscape.
? Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate to the area. This
position may require travel in the US.
? Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an
accredited institution. Will also consider three years of
progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of
? At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
? Experience in optimizing speech and graphical user interfaces
and existing technologies to balance user needs with client
? U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are

? At least 10 years of experience with VXML, SSML, SRGF/ BNF,
GRXML, Nuance Application Studio, NLU / SLM natural language, word
spotting implementations using Nuance / various platforms
? Excellent requirements gathering skills, speech discovery,
client relationship skills.
? B uilt and managed Voice User Interface, Usability, Audio
Engineering, Grammar and Customer Experience / Tuning teams
? Provides Q&A support to development, test, and
? Highly developed VUI design skills, Grammar Architecture, and
Persona implementation and TTS implementation skills.
? Vendor management and third party support coordination.

? Developed or has understanding of Conversational IVR
? Identifies, analyzes, and translates business needs into
? Designs Company Packaged Speech Application Product Suite,
configurable, and reusable modules.
? Customer Interface Lead during requirements gathering, onsite
? Provide Professional Services Speech Analysis and Post
Production tuning efforts as a speech consultant.
? Develop and implement Voice User Interface “Best-Practices”
? Integrate Human Factors and Usability design principles
through Integrated Tuning.
? Develop and document process and procedures for developing and
deploying speech applications for each unique speech recognition
architecture, including SpeechWorks, Nuance, Intervoice.
? Participates in requirement and design meetings. Recommends,
writes and collects business requirements.
? Communicates success with leaders and meets performance
metrics for deliveries.
? Meets with clients onsite when required
? Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder
? Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skills
? Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery
