We are looking for a Sr QA Verification lead Tester - Manual for one of our clients here in Indianapolis, IN. Client is a Medical devices company and testing background with medical devices is KEY requirement here. The candidate MUST be open to work onsite from day one. This may become a contract to hire position so and Citizens ONLY. Let me know if you have any on!The QA Verification Lead will have the below responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will have experience in a leadership position on a software team.
• The QA Verification Lead's role will be to establish the verification test plan, maintain the requirements trace matrix, and oversee the development of the test cases and test execution.
• The QA Verification Lead will be responsible for the creation of verification tests and the approval of the verification tests written by other team members.
• The QA Verification Lead will also be responsible for estimating and tracking verification tasks against the project schedule.
• The QA Verification Lead will be expected to work with the Project Manager and the software development team to assure quality releases are delivered on time to meet our clients' needs.The QA Verification lead will have the below qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience writing testing plans
  • Experience creating and maintaining a trace matrix
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and approving test cases
  • Experience executing tests and approving executed test cases
  • Experience with defect tracking and management
  • Understanding of formal documentation processes
  • A 4-year BS degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience Optional Skills:
    • Experience with international standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304)
    • Database experience with respect to configuration and querying datasets
    • Laboratory Information Systems - such as HL7 and ASTM 1394
    • Experience configuring and controlling a test environment under Microsoft Windows - provided by Dice
