DepartmentCHILD CARE CENTER (IN-CHCR-IUINA)Job SummaryThe Toddler Specialist is responsible for the daily management of the children and activities in their classroom in accordance with licensing and the Center's policies, practices, and procedures. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children enrolled. Attend professional development as required, and participate in the unit's staff meetings. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED with a CDA OR associate degree in Early Childhood Development. 21 years of age. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for early childhood. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information to children, parents, staff and the general public. Knowledge of state licensing regulations. Awareness and acceptance of cultural differences. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or Elementary Education.
