Think you have what it takes?We are currently hiring aPart Time Sensory Panelist, Risk ManagementinBreinigsville, PA.The sensory panelist will be trained by the Sensory Technologist to evaluate the flavor profile of a variety of brands of alcoholic beverages with a focus on alcoholic seltzers and flavored malted beverages. The panelist will apply appropriate focus and concentration on tasting responsibilities. Panelist will go through acuity testing to understand individual's ability to detect subtle differences in a variety of different profile. They will engage in discussion about the products. This position is focused on product quality.We would be looking for a Monday - Friday commitment for 4 hours a day. Options for mornings or afternoons.What You'll Do: Excellent tasting skills and ability to consume and taste alcoholic beverages, verified through a screening test for sensory acuityInterested in trying new products/flavored products etc.Exhibit a positive, approachable, outgoing personality with the ability to learn and follow direction from a group trainer and leaderAbility to interact effectively in group situation with a diverse group of peopleExcellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort using the computer/tabletAbility to articulate their sensory experience (product flavor, aroma, appearance etc.)Must be punctual and reliableMust be available weekdays (Monday through Friday) between the hours of 9AM-2PM What We're Looking For: MUST be 21 years of ageMust be able to consume alcoholMust possess strong sensory acuity related to smell and tasteMust be open and able to tasting products that include a broad range of ingredientsFood allergies or aversions may need to be considered on a case by case basisAbility to maintain sensory neutral environment, including abstaining from smoking, perfumes and cologne use, chewing gum, etc. on sensory testing daysHigh School Diploma preferredAssociated degree in a science field preferredExperience in sensory testing and/or food handlingExcellent tasting skills and ability to discern and identify nuanced ingredients and flavorsThe panelist must achieve successful performance in screening test for sensory acuityExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ownership and professional commitment Some Perks:Our people are our most important "ingredient."
