Manager - Registered Nurse (RN)  - Clinical Program:  ECMO - Full Time - Day Shift

The ECMO manager will work with nursing and physician leaders to continue to develop the growing ECMO program.  The program serves patients requiring either VA or VV ECMO in collaboration with the critical care, cardiovascular and cardiology teams.

What You Will Do:

Job Summary:

  • Manages activities and work flow for assigned health plan clinical programs focused on improving the health status and care for individuals with chronic conditions, potentially complex medical, mental health and psychosocial issues.


  • Manage all project and/or program management work including monitoring and tracking of progress and status update communications.
  • Manage development and implementation of new ideas that support project work streams and clinical teams.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate program services and initiatives. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to promote health plan initiatives.
  • Collaborate with others to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of insurance policies, practices and procedures.
  • Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
Additional Preferences:

Preferred Qualifications: 

BSN and Advanced degree in nursing (MSN), healthcare administration (MHA) or business (MBA). 

3-5 years experience in an acute care setting and ECMO related patient care experience.

3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
