What You Will Do

As a Patient Care Technician with Ascension St. Vincent, you will have the opportunity to deliver bedside care in the Trauma Neuro Surgical ICU setting.

• This is a full time opportunity
• Nights –  7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.   Three 12 hour shifts, every third weekend, rotating holidays.

What You Will Do:

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required

Additional Preferences:

Previous patient care acute care experience preferred.
