Description:The position is responsible for working with the
Contract Manufacturer(s) (CM) to support supply, quality, and
continuous process improvement of Connected Care delivery devices,
sub-assemblies, and components that are supplied to Lilly packaging
and manufacturing sites. Key Objectives / Deliverables:
- Facilitate the Joint Process Team between Lilly and the
Contract Manufacturer
- Monitor and communicate monthly JPT (Joint Process Team)
metrics
- Support Daily Huddles with focus on KPIs with JPT Members
- Foster and Support Strong Safety and Quality Cultures at the
CMs
- Support Launch Activities as needed for new products in the
Connected Care portfolio
- Provide day to day oversight of activities and resolution of
issues taking place between the CMs and Lilly sites
- Lead the resolution of manufacturing related issues including
deviations and evaluation of manufacturing data and supply chain
needs
- Perform TrackWise activities such as Lead investigator and
Change Owner
- Provide operations project management input and oversight for
capital projects at CMs
- Work with engineering, product stewards and others in the
development/leading of process/product improvements. This may
include project planning activities, development of protocols,
coordination of internal and external lab based testing,
documentation of the data and completion of technical reports
- Track timely completion of documentation and process updates
resulting from local and global procedural changes, audits,
complaint investigations, documentation reviews, product reviews,
process reviews and equipment reviews
- Develop effective and productive working relationships with
colleagues at CM sites and at wet (Lilly internal) sites
- Lead cross-functional/cross-site/cross-company project teams as
needed
- Provide backup, as appropriate, for the Associate Director CMO
OperationsBasic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: Engineering or Science (Prefer Electrical or
Mechanical)
- Previous experience supporting front line process team
activities
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Cross-functional experienceAdditional Preferences:
- Previous Leadership/supervisory experience
- Career interest in operations or functional leadership
- Previous engineering or project management experience in
medical devices
- Strong background in Excel and/or Tableau
- Basic Understanding of Electronics and Mechanical Aptitude
- Demonstrated high degree of ownership / accountability
- Strong communication (written and oral) skills, teamwork, and
influence
- Solid technical writing skills
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a teamOther Information:
