Specialist is responsible for following up with invoices that have
been sent to payers but have not yet been paid. This individual is
also responsible for researching denials and converting them.The
starting pay for our Collections team is $19.00 per hour. In
addition to compensation, our full-time employees are eligbile to

Job Functions--- Process at least 5 claims per hour--- Manage a
portfolio of payers ensuring collections, aging and denials are
being processed in a timely fashion--- Assist with billing efforts
by eliminating denials and keeping payer rules up to date---
Perform month end reconciliation; assisting other departments as
needed--- Meet daily, monthly and quarterly collection goals set by
management--- Ensure work being performed meets internal and
external compliance requirementsAdditional responsibilities of this
position may include;+ Assist with office site visits and audits as
necessary by the state of Indiana and/or any government agency+
Oversight of minimal inventory and equipment as well as communicate
when inventory levels are low+ Answering phones professionally,
taking messages andRequirements--- High school diploma or GED
required--- Minimum of 2 years related experience; healthcare,
medical office, customer service preferred--- Proficient in
Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel---
Strong basic math and accounting skills--- Proven ability to manage
in a high call volume environment with accuracy and efficiencyOther
Skills/Abilities--- Must be able to adhere to confidentiality
standards and professional boundaries at all times--- Attention to
detail--- Time Management--- Ability to remain calm and
professional in stressful situations--- Strong commitment to
excellence--- Quick-thinking and astute decision making skills---
