Job Description:
One of the fastest growing prominent Collection Agencies in the
United States, based in Itasca, IL, has a - position open for an
experienced 1st Party Collector. - The candidate will demonstrate
strong problem-solving skills to resolve delinquent accounts by
initiating timely collection activities and dispute resolution
procedures. - The candidate will exhibit a customer centric
demeanor during all interactions to best represent our company and
clients while remaining firm in our collection practices. - The
ideal candidate will be energetic, highly self-motivated, focused,
goal-oriented, and able to easily handle rejection from debtors. -
-Overview:
- Initiate outbound emails and telephone calls to resolve
collection related issues in a professional manner while building
and fostering customer relationships.
- Exhibit an understanding of debtor issues and take appropriate
actions leading to resolution while acting with sense of urgency. -

- Perform reconciliation on outstanding balances by analyzing
data in collection related tools and account payment history. -

- Collaborate professionally with internal customers to resolve
process difficulties and system issues. - -
- Maintain a daily and accurate record of actions taken to
resolve outstanding balances. - -
- Monitor collection history against monthly plan to ensure
individual and department goals achieved. - -
- Exhibit a positive, problem-solving, and collaborative approach
within team. - -Requirements:
- -3 to 5 years' experience in a collection and/or account
receivable role.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and produce accurate,
high-quality work.
- Ability to successfully apply coaching and feedback.
- Skilled in negotiation and persuasion.
- Articulate communication skills (oral and written). - -
- Utilize systems, tools, and training resources to the fullest
extent to maximize potential.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent active listening and phone communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism with
difficult or irate customers during all interactions.
- Aptitude for technology and proficient personal computer
skills. - Basic to intermediate Excel skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where change is
common. - -Work Schedule:8:00 am - 5:00 pm. - No nights or
