This position is for candidates who can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This permanent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk is in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.How you will make an impact- Reconcile bank accounts, recording and balancing financial information in a variety of ledgers- Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed- Verify the correctness of documents and codes- Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested- Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP- Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks- Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced
