Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee drill helpers to facilitate drilling operations in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain drilling machine equipment in proper working order
• Maintain appearance and upkeep of assigned company pickup truck
• Compile and maintain data for project information - logs, well construction diagrams, time sheets, expense reports
• Drive a truck mounted drill rig, or a truck-trailer combination carrying an off-road drill rig, while adhering to all applicable USDOT standards and rules.
• Operate a soils drilling rig and oversee drill helpers in order to collect soil samples for both geotechnical and environmental investigation purposes in a safe and productive manner while adhering to accepted standards of practice, project specifications, and local laws.
• Maintain accurate and legible drill logs, well installation diagrams, and time and expense records.
• Interact with clients, property owners, project managers, and other consultants in a professional manner. Conduct operations in accordance with numerous site specific safety programs as well as all drug and alcohol testing programs required by clients, owners, and Atlas - both pre-employment and random. none

  Basic qualifications:
  • CDL required
  • Extensive travel required.
