Job Description:
The skilled and results-driven Digital Strategist will be tasked
with providing expert consulting services to financial services
industry clients and potential clients of Acxiom's Digital
practice. Reporting to the Client Managing Director, she or he will
be a leader both in sourcing and securing new digital and related
business opportunities as well as a key participant in the
strategy, ideation, and execution of that business. While an
individual contributor role, the candidate will need to effectively
team, collaborate and manage representatives from all facets of the
business including sales, marketing, product development, delivery,
and client engagement to lead the creation and promotion of value
based digital solutions that fill the digital marketing needs of
our clients in this quickly evolving field.
The successful candidate in this role will possess a keen
understanding of rapidly changing consumer behavior and trends in
the digital marketing space, particularly, but not exclusively, in
the financial services industry. Additionally, the candidate in
this role should be assertive, innovative, and web & media savvy.
The candidate in this role will additionally be a de facto member
of Acxiom's Digital team community where they will be able to
collaborate and cultivate client digital strategy ideas with other
associates in similar or related roles throughout Acxiom. It will
also be necessary for this candidate to manage potential
opportunities through internal processes; including not only
identifying opportunities but any/all work necessary to nurture and
advance any opportunities. This would include appropriate
engagement with other stakeholders, SME's, and leadership as well
as quality communication and certainty of any handoffs to ensure
actions are taken to maximize chances to close any new business
opportunities.
Responsibilities & Priorities
Build strong, trusting client relationships in the digital & media
sectors of clients assigned to you
Collaborate and coordinate to identify, lead, and create business
opportunities with various IPG (Acxiom's parent company) agencies
and companies, including Kinesso & Matterkind in the advancement of
our client's consumption of digital & media-based services
Engage with Acxiom and Client strategic partners to determine
solutions and use cases to optimize digital campaign targeting
strategy and performance for our clients
Work with client account leadership to identify and implement areas
of omnichannel marketing operations best practices for our clients
internally and externally
Work with Client Leadership to identify and implement
future-proofing solutions related to the loss of industry 3rd party
cookies and help convince our clients that Acxiom has solutions to
offset this issue
Design digital/CRM strategies inclusive of data capture and
activation workflow across the customer journey (e.g., media,
client-owned properties, paid media, social media, CRM and offline)
for our clients
Stay current on CCPA, Data Privacy, and other regulatory tracking
and targeting industry changes
Define and contribute to solutions that meet our client's digital
marketing needs including the ability to solution around the
majority of the following types of platforms: Content Management
System, Campaign Management, Digital Asset Management,
Personalization and Targeting, Web Analytics, Mobile
applications
Help our clients think holistically for how data and technology can
best support their brand media and digital/CRM campaign goals
through IPG and Acxiom's products and services
Create data assessments and recommendations regarding available 1P,
2P and 3P data for our clients
Create and maintain strategic marketing planning roadmaps for
assigned clients
Assess and recommend audience curation and digital/CRM concepts and
constructs, positioning, and communication strategies for our
clients
Map existing and design new advertising and digital/CRM experiences
based on data, insights, and marketing technology capabilities
Work with analytics and data science to define, create, and present
performance metrics, marketing reports, executive dashboards, and
measurement requirements for our clients
Ability to communicate, lead and report on critical performance
metrics on a regular basis
Firm grasp of and continual research and sharing of emerging
digital tools and technologies with account teams and client where
appropriate
Create solution proposals including services, timelines, pricing,
and business value for our clients
Be or become the email expert for clients.
Guide the client in the use of Prospect Emails, including helping
the client understand standard industry guidelines, and privacy
concerns.
Take full ownership and accountability regarding Acxiom's
engagement with clients from a digital perspective.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related Business
discipline required
7+ years' experience working in the digital media buying & planning
space with focus on programmatic strategy, execution, and People
Based Marketing; experience working with financial service
organizations a plus
Possess working knowledge of digital and other content delivery
platforms such as marketing clouds, CRM systems, DMP, CDP, Tag
Manager, analytics tools, and others, including knowledge of at
least one ecosystem of the major providers Adobe, Google, Oracle,
SAP, OTT streaming platforms or Salesforce
Working knowledge of in-platform execution, pulling the levers in
DSP platforms (i.e., DV360, Google Ads, Xandr, The Trade Desk,
Amazon DSP, Facebook Ads)
Experience working with media and the technologies used to support
online and/or mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience
management tools, Connected TV and first/third-party ad tags
Knowledge of digital ads trafficking is required (DCM, DSP/SSP
logs, Connected TV logs)
Experience working with Identity management solutions
Strong relationship management, organizational and project
management skills
Ability to identify and then coordinate across appropriate Acxiom
teams to monetize business opportunities for growth
Experience and proficiency working with multiple projects and
multiple deadlines to ensure completion of said projects
Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
Ability to prepare for, lead and maintain both regularly scheduled
and impromptu Acxiom internal and Client strategy sessions with a
focus on actionable outcomes
SEO knowledge or experience is a plus #GD17
