I haven't always worked from home. I was in the customer service and administrative field for 10 years and it was what I thought I was going to do my entire life. But, right before my second child was born, I brought my daughter to daycare one morning and the daycare was closed. Everything changed. I didnt know it was going to change.. I thought I would climb the corporate ladder, get more certifications and even go back to school. But, it changed for me. My number one focus, my only focus, was to find a way to earn an income from home. I wanted to be with my children and never have to worry about daycare expense or showing up to a closed door at the daycare center again. I searched for a 2.5 years, and after lots of sifting and sorting, I finally came across something I could do from home that didn't require parties, products, cold calling or bugging friends and family. And, after 8 years of being in this industry, I have realized, this is what I was meant to do.. its crazy how things end up working out. Heres why its what I was meant to do... I love helping people I love talking to and meeting new people I love having the freedom to do things the way I want to do I love choosing who I get to work with I love getting rewarded for my efforts I love the flexibility I have to work wherever I want. I love creating a business around my life... NOT creating a life around my business. I love teaching and learning and investing in myself I love not missing out on special moments with my kids. I love that I can be the mom I want to be and still earn an income. If you love any of these things as well...then maybe working from home is for you, too.
