Job Location MASON BUS AND INNOVATION CTR Job Description The
purpose of this unique Communications role is to lead the
development and execution of innovative content strategies that
effectively deploy scientific assets and enhance dental care
communications. By leveraging earned media, the position aims to
create engaging narratives that make complex scientific insights
relatable and accessible to diverse audiences. This role not only
focuses on campaign activation and influencer marketing but also
emphasizes the integration of scientific content into comprehensive
health care communications strategies, ensuring that messaging
resonates across various channels and influences consumer behavior
and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Campaign Activation:
Lead the development and implementation of campaigns that leverage
earned media to create excitement and engagement around our
products and initiatives. Craft compelling narratives that make
scientific insights relatable and accessible to a broad audience,
with a strong focus on maximizing earned media opportunities.
Develop a content strategy that ensures all scientific assets are
effectively deployed across various channels. Health Care
Communications Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive
communications strategy for our health care initiatives.
Collaborate with diverse internal teams to align messaging and
integrate scientific insights into consumer-friendly content that
resonates with various communities, prioritizing earned media
channels. Ensure that the deployment of scientific assets is
consistent and impactful across all communications efforts.
Influencer Marketing Activation: Innovate and implement an
influencer marketing capability, building an organic recommendation
program that utilizes earned social and digital media channels.
Empower consumers to share their positive experiences and
recommendations, fostering a community of brand advocates, with a
strong emphasis on leveraging earned media. Ensure that influencer
collaborations effectively communicate our scientific assets and
align with our overall content strategy. Influencing Purchase
Intent: Drive scientific exchange that not only informs but also
influences consumer purchase intent and habit formation through
high-quality recommendations from dental professionals. Ensure
these efforts are amplified through earned media strategies and
that all communications reinforce our scientific messaging.
Influencing Care Standards: Advocate for changes in associations
and standards of care regarding our superior products. Ensure our
innovations are recognized and adopted in the industry, promoted
through strategic earned media efforts, and supported by robust
scientific content. Retail Integration Opportunities: Explore and
expand retail integration opportunities through roadshows, buyer
onboarding, demos, and high-impact continuing education initiatives
that drive brand engagement. Utilize our scientific assets to
enhance these initiatives and ensure that all communications
resonate with retail partners. Skills Required: Earned Media
Expertise: A proven track record in leveraging earned media to
enhance brand visibility and engagement. Experience in developing
strategies that maximize coverage and create awareness around
health care initiatives, particularly in the context of scientific
content deployment. Technical Translator: A demonstrated ability to
translate technical/scientific content to
media/customer/consumer-genic content is required given the focus
of the work is within the professional oral care community and in
close partnership with R&D. Effective Communication: Ability to
create clear, concise, and well-organized communication materials
(written, oral, visual) and present information convincingly to
external influencers, including science and news media, and
medical, academic, and professional experts. Proficiency in
deploying scientific assets effectively across various platforms.
Digital Communications Expertise: A passion for digital
communications is a must. You should understand what it takes to
succeed on online platforms by creating engaging and compelling
scientific content that can be amplified through earned media.
Creativity: Thinking creatively to develop compelling stories and
identifying new opportunities for scientific communications to
drive earned awareness and enhance credibility will be crucial.
Building Effective Relationships: Work collaboratively with a
diverse range of individuals within P&G, agency partners, and
external influencers. Strong relationship-building skills are key
to developing effective partnerships and positioning yourself as a
trusted contact for thought leaders. External Awareness: A
demonstrated interest in the external landscape for oral care
products, including key trends (Perceived Safety Issues,
Sustainability, Citizenship, etc.), is essential. Job
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing,
Public Relations, Science Communication, Health Communication, or a
related field; a master’s degree is preferred. 5-8 years of
experience in communications, marketing, or public relations,
specifically focused on health care or scientific content. Proven
track record in leveraging earned media to enhance brand
visibility, particularly in the context of health care
communications. Experience in developing and executing innovative
content strategies that make complex scientific insights relatable
to diverse audiences. Strong skills in translating
technical/scientific content into consumer-friendly narratives and
creating clear communication materials for various stakeholders.
Familiarity with influencer marketing and digital communications,
including creating engaging content for online platforms and
amplifying it through earned media. Starting Pay/Salary Range:
$110,000 – $165,300 Compensation for roles at P&G varies
depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including
but not limited to the specific office location, role,
degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant
experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the
