Job Description Park Place Communities is a growing company
looking for talented individuals to join the team. Our company
purchases distressed mobile home parks and other properties around
the US, and rehabilitates the parks and mobile homes to create
affordable, comfortable communities. We are seeking carpenters who
are willing and able to travel. We have properties throughout the
mid-west and southern regions that need to be renovated, and we are
building traveling crews to perform the renovations. Projects can
last from 1 month - 12 months but we offer a generous time-off
program to our traveling crew. This is a full-time, permanent
position. If you live more than 100 miles from the assigned
property, we pay for all your travel expenses in advance and
provide a per diem allowance for meals. Housing provided while on
site. Renovation crews will assist in mobile home renovations and
are responsible for performing basic carpentry tasks under the
guidance and supervision of a construction manager. To qualify, you
should: Have 2+ years carpentry/renovation experience Must own and
bring hand tools to work every day (hammer, screwdrivers, pry bar,
measuring tape) Have a basic understanding of carpentry principles
and procedures Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate
construction job site terrain Be willing and able to perform
physical tasks during your shift Must be willing and able to travel
as needed Priority given to current/former military and applicants
with finish carpentry experience. Compensation will be competitive
and will depend on experience. Park Place Communities is a
