Job Description:

A chartered, private, not-for-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote IT Security Analyst. Core Responsibilities of this position include: Being proactive network monitoring to identify and/or prevent cybersecurity/network incidents Assisting with enforcement of enterprise security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures Maintaining operational configurations of all-in place security solutions as per established baselines Qualifications for this position include: Bachelors Degree in field of computer science or related field and/or2 to 4 years of equivalent work experience in IT security Security+ or other relevant security-related designation(s) Firm grasp of computer networking concepts and protocols and network security methodologies Expert in enterprise security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures Understands specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses Ability to achieve desired results while working collaboratively in a team environment
