Responsibilities: The individual must explore, embrace and institutionalize new partnerships and ways of working that drive business. They will be responsible for driving change by continuing to bring in new opportunities into Lilly, regularly obtaining approval on new processes and elevating the company's expertise as it relates to the evolving consumer landscape. This position will work closely cross functional groups to develop and operationalize. Additionally, they need to influence many different stakeholders throughout the company. This position reports to the Director of Strategy & Operations. Overarching Strategy - 50% of responsibilities: Manage executive leadership deliverables for larger marketing platforms. Audience is Lilly USA Leadership with this role having direct visibility to this audience. Drive marketing promotional platforms and partnerships with key industry players like Google, Facebook and Disney/ABC Work closely with agency partners, key industry players and data/technology providers to establish new capabilities that advance the way we engage consumers and measures performance. Manage an innovation roadmap that is continuously evolving to respond to market needs, customer expectations and new technologies. Work closely with internal cross functional partners including Privacy, IT, Analytics, Legal and Regulatory Stay abreast of the latest consumer's trends through attending industry events Shape and lead the internal consumer marketing/media learning agenda inclusive of lunch-n-learns, internal conferences/summits, roadshows, etc. Create long term strategy for media and content sponsorships and integration Olympics - 50% of responsibilities: Manage executive leadership deliverables for Lilly USOPC partnership and first ever Lilly sponsorship of the Olympics Games and Team USA. Centrally oversee strategic vision, creative strategy & execution, Team USA Athlete brand ambassador integrations and activations Ensure overall communication strategy is extended effectively across partnerships in activation and execution and that all elements are integrated in messaging, look, tone and feel Assist in development and implementation of Team USA Athletes strategy and content Oversee Olympics/Paralympics Lilly disseminated content strategy. Additionally, manage the preparation, creation and approval process for tactics under content strategy. Work in partnership with Sports Marketing Agency and NBCU on athlete content and distribution across NBCU properties In partnership with PR, develop athletes communication and media training Along with cross functional partnership, implement non-media sponsorship activation inclusive of internal and external initiatives Work closely with analytics and enterprise website team to manage and implement measurement Develop POV and approach for Olympics games strategy and negotiation (Beijing2022 through LA2028) ; including executive deliverables and USOPC negotiations. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS College degree MBA preferred 5 years marketing experience at an agency or client-side Sponsorship/sports marketing a plus Additional Preferences: Experience working across functions and different level of leadership Must be collaborative in nature Content strategy and content building experience Strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment Strong verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail Previous experience in sports marketing and sponsorship Previous experience with sports entities and association Additional Information: This position is not permanent.
