Description:POSITION OBJECTIVE:Develop the plant into a
dependable, flexible, responsive, and committed organization that
is dedicatedto the production of high quality, safe consumer
products with a focus on being an effective partner forour
customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Understand the
Packaging Industry/experienceResponsible for all the profitability
of Truvant by overseeing all areas of the business to be sure they
are running smoothly and accomplishing goals and due dates.
Responsible for all quoting for the plant. Responsible for
monitoring the financials to determine if changes need to be made
to meet or exceed budget projections each month. Responsible for
job costing annually to determine if pricing needs to be adjusted
for the coming year. Responsible to ensure quality assurance for
all related activities within the plant. Promote safety in the
workplace to ensure that employees and managers can accomplish
their daily tasks in safe and hazard free facility. Encourage and
promote the culture of cooperation and teamwork among the
employees.Enforce all company policies, guidelines, and programs
fairly and equitably.Other duties as
assigned.Requirements:EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:Bachelors
Degree in related field preferredPackaging experience a plus10+
years supervisory experience preferred10+ years manufacturing
experience preferredSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:Knowledge gained
through on the job training of company products, policies, and
proceduresAbility to pay close attention to detailSkill in
operating various equipment as needed to perform the jobSkill in
multitasking and time managementAbility to be proactive, with a
high level of organization and self-motivationAbility to
effectively manage personnel of varying skills and disciplinary
backgroundsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to
act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Proficient
with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficiency with or
the ability to quickly learn the organizations systems.Ability to
function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with
peers and personnel in other departmentsAbility to keep company and
customer information that is discussed or viewed while under
employment with Truvant confidentialAbility to adhere to all
regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions
including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific
policies, ISO, GMP's, USDA, regulatory food safety and food
defensePHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to read
documents, printouts, computer screens and other communicationMust
be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workersMust be
able to reach, touch, graspMust be able to stand and/or walk for
prolonged periods of timeMust be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift,
pull and pushMust be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to
avoid accidents while on the production floorMust be able to work
in various environments based on building location and products.
Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level;
lifting and positioning weight loads up to 40 poundsBilingual
