• Play to WinJob Summary The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the production schedule. The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for requesting material from the offsite warehouse and reviewing material requirement for a rolling 2-month outlook. Additionally, the Production Planner/Scheduler will update and communicate the status of the schedule to internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is expected to be hands-on and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This individual will have a key role within the CMF Division and team.Job Responsibilities
  • Generate and maintain Master Production Plan for all products being supported on a weekly basis.
  • Trigger material transfers from offsite warehouse.
  • Release production orders for production execution to manufacture. Reschedule process orders if needed in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Communicate to Operations, Logistics and Procurement any changes related demand/production plan.
  • Communicate to Project Managers any changes related to production execution or material shortages.
  • Complete 60 rolling day material needs analysis.
  • Communicate any issues related to demand that are getting near production time or inside supplier lead-time.
  • Participate in weekly Production Planning Meetings and Daily Production Execution Meetings
  • Additional tasks as requested by supervisor2023 Outcomes/Measures of Success --- 90% on-time delivery to customer request date--- 90% on-time completion of the production plan commitments--- Zero stockouts for next two week committed production plan--- Documented scheduling and planning processesAdditional Education/Knowledge/Skills Requirements --- 3+ years of planning and scheduling experience--- Experience in manufacturing environment--- Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experienceHighly Preferred Experience--- Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
